What is holding you back from living your truth?
Is it your job, friends, family, financial or medical concerns or is it more emotional such as self-doubt, anxiety, or fear? I challenge you to move beyond those obstacles that are preventing you from living your truth.
It has taken me many years to deal with the changes in my life — especially the unexpected or unplanned ones. The direction I thought God had laid out for me was not the road I was heading down. I thought I was misguided. But as I adjusted, I began to realize the deeper meaning to that familiar scripture, “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him…(NIV) Psalms 37:4 & 5″.
God gave me desires in my heart that shaped me to who I am today. I used to think that unplanned change was an obstacle. Now I realize that change is a moving away from one desire to a new desire as God continues to shape me to who I am supposed to be—my truth.
As I move beyond the obstacle, I need to trust God’s plans for my life.
Question: How are you moving beyond the obstacles in your life?
